DJ Lewi has been busy in the studio of late, collaboratiing with Nalder & Clay, Jason Taylor, new UK Funky vocalist Olivia plus a few remixes in the pipeline.
'Hitched' and 'Northern Breakdown' are the two latest productions to come out of the studio. 'Hitched' being the first solo DJ Lewi record for many a year and 'Northern Breakdown' the latest single with Nalder & Clay.
'Tonight', produced with Nalder & Clay, was recorded back in October and has already been causing rumbles on the dance floor for a handful of DJs lucky enough to get a copy. The track is in the process of being signed up to Soul Avengerz label 'SODA'. Watch out for the awesomw remix by teh Soul Avengerz themselves. The follow up to 'Tonight' was completed  recently at the Beat Thiefs' studio in Ipswich and is called 'Dubsmoke'.
'Keep The Fire Burning' is a collaboration with former UnknownFM.Net DJ Jason Taylor and is a cover of the '91 House Crew classic and was completed a couple of weeks ago. The original vibe is very much intact with this subtle remake. Currently in talks to get this one signed in the new year with the vocal resung.
Whilst on holiday in Marbella this summer, DJ Lewi over heard UK Funky singer Olivia singing 'Ladiez Skank'. The fruits of this random meeting have led to an uplifting Afrobeat come UK Funky single which has huge dance floor potential.
